At the beginning of the nineties’, my artwork began to change, taking a more conceptual direction. This does not mean that I abandoned manual work or precise execution but, from then on, it was the concept that guided each artwork, material and technique chosen in accordance with their ability to manifest the work most accurately. Since then, written language has played an important role in the practice of art whether in a word written in the body of the work or in the name that appears beside it on the wall. The caption hints at a direction from which to observe the work, while always leaving room for the spectator’s interpretation.
