Roots of Air & Water
Air roots are roots that intertwine on the soil surface in search of water and oxygen.
If we’d been blessed with penetrating and observant eyes, we’d be able to see the moisture and saline nourishment flowing through them, see the pollution spreading through the air, water and soil.
Will the dry tree positioned in the center of the exhibition “Roots of air” - with its flexible air pipes instead of roots – bloom again? Imprinted in the tree, it would appear, and in us, is the yearning for green Nature, which is slowly being overtaken, slowly becoming extinct. Close Window
