The word Photoerosion consists of two words: photography and erosion.
It refers to partially eroded family photographs kept buried in the ground during World War II.
These photographs, presented together in several exhibitions with items from THERE, took on an artistic effect. In all the years of my art work, I had never touched on this autobiographical material, until it erupted and burst to the surface of its own accord. The abstract works which, for me, are always connected with this material, are relevant because they convey to the spectator the mood, the yearning and the pain of a tiny girl who personally experienced the events of the Holocaust .
